Terms and Conditions of Use



Article 1: Introduction

The Terms and Conditions are applicable for all orders placed on the website www.chinistore.com and from the order date after the 16/06/2011 included (June 16th, 2011 included). ChiniStore reserves the right to adapt or to modify these general terms and conditions at any time. These adaptations or modifications are opposable from their online release date and cannot be applicable for orders prior to this date.

ChiniStore is edited by the company CHINIGROUP CO., LIMITED registered in Hong Kong under the number 1583720 at Bright Way Tower, 33 Mong Kok Road, Hong Kong.


Article 2: Electronic signature

The customer's "click", as an order form, constitutes an electronic signature which has, between parties, the same value as a handwritten signature.

The "click" and the acceptation of the terms and conditions (checkbox) constitute an irrevocable acceptance and unreserved of the customer's order.


Article 3: Product availability

Our product offers and product prices are valid as long as they are visible on the website while stock is available.


Articles 4: Product information

Products come along with a description written by ChiniStore and pictures the most accurate as possible. These pictures cannot assure a perfect match with the product. ChiniStore reserves the right to modify products and their description at any time.


Article 5: Placing an order

You have several ways at your disposal to place an order:

ChiniStore reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders without justification in case of functioning problem of the website or its database or in case or price error.


Article 6: Payment and security

After validating your order you can use the following payment methods:

  • By Credit Card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express...), ChiniStore uses Paypal to guarantee the security of your payment by Credit Card. Paypal is a professional and widely well-known company for online transaction (More). The payment is 100% secure.

  • By Bank Wire transfer, banking information will be provided during and after the ordering steps.
  • By Western Union


Article 7: Prices

The indicated prices on our website are in Pounds Sterling, in Euros and in US Dollars and they include all taxes. These prices do not include the delivery fees. The shipping fees are indicated during the order process and are added to the total amount of the selected products.

ChiniStore reserves the right to modify the price at any time, the price in effect is the price at the moment of the order by the customer.


Article 8: Shipping and Delivery

All our products are mainly sent from China. Therefore it is possible that you go through customs clearance (See Article 9 about Customs Clearance). Goods are sent after the payment clearance. The delivery time includes the preparation of the package and the delivery time according to the carrier. Note that we are not responsible for a loss or a late delivery of your package caused by a third-party carrier company or by You. ChiniStore uses EMS, UPS, DHL, Hong Kong Post and China Post as carriers.

You can find all details regarding carriers on this page "Delivery and Return". Shipping fees and delivery time will be indicated during the validation process of your order.

ChiniStore can not be held responsible for damages happened during the shipping. Before signing the receipt, please check carefully the package. If you find that the package is damaged, opened or refurbished, refuse it. Then contact the customer service (sc(at)chinistore.com or contact form) as soon as possible, we will help you with the steps to follow.


Article 9: Customs Clearance

The products being shipped from China, it is possible that the package clears through customs. As a buyer, you are responsible for the costs associated with the product. Therefore you will have to pay customs rights and the Value Added Tax (VAT) upon receipt of your package. Customs rights depend on the product type, a percentage is applied to the product which is designated by its TARIC code (European Integrated Community Tariff), you will find the percentage and the TARIC code in the TARIC section on the European Commission website.customs rights are calculated on the CIF value of the parcel (Cost Insurance and Freight, it includes the value of the product, insurance, if any, and freight cost) and VAT is calculated on the total, customs rights plus the CIF value.

Generally, these fees must be paid when the carrier brings you the package. We recommend that you check with the relevant institutions to know the exact charges of the destination country.


Article 10: Promotional coupon and credit voucher

Promotional coupons or credit vouchers have to be used on the shopping cart page. A specific frame is destined to them. After entering the code in the appropriate field, you will have to validate it by clicking on the "Add" button. Your total amount will be updated taking into account your promotion.

These coupons are destined to a strictly personal use. In most cases, the coupon can be used only once.


Article 11: Warranty and right of retractation (Money Back Guarantee)

In case of a retractation, ChiniStore allows the buyer 7 days (article L121-20 of the Consumption Code) to warn us from the reception date of the package. You can contact us by mail at sav(at)chinistore.com or by filling the contact form.

During this period of 7 days, the buyer will be able to request a refund or a product exchange. In the case of an exchange, if the value of the exchanged article is lesser than the value of the new one, ChiniStore will reimburse the customer the difference. If the value of the exchanged article is greater than the value of the new one, the difference will have to be paid by the customer. The Customer is in charge of the return fees of the exchanged product and the delivery fees of the new product, hence the delivery fees will be added to the value of the new product, except that if the return results from a mistake from ChiniStore.

After these 7 days, you will have a standard warranty. In this case, the warranty period is mentioned in the product description and is effective from the date of delivery. The warranty is applicable on defective products, manufacturing defects, latent defects or during crashes in normal use of the device. The Customer is in charge of the return fees and is in charge of the new product’s shipping fees.

The warranty will not be applicable for crashes or damages due to improper use or abnormal use of the device, to firmware upgrade, to modification (electric, electronic…), to theft, to mishandling, to damages caused by transport (see Article 8 - Shipping) or due to an accident.

The refund or exchange can only be made after the reception and verification of returned product or retracted product. Your return package has to be complete including all documents, accessories, products and a copy of the invoice. An incomplete package will lead to a reimbursement refusal or exchange refusal. Therefore, please pack your products carefully as you will be held responsible for any damages made during the shipping of the returned goods. (see Article 12 - Return of the Product).

Whatever the return reasons, retraction or warranty, products must be returned to the logistics center in China. The exact address will be sent by email.


Article 12: Product return

Your return package has to be complete including all documents, accessories, products and a copy of the invoice. An incomplete package will lead to a reimbursement refusal or exchange refusal. Therefore, please pack your products carefully as you will be held responsible for any damages made during the shipping of the returned goods.

The returning fees of the old product are your responsibility and the shipping fees of the new product or repaired product will be our responsibility.
If it is a return due to a retractation from you (see Article 11 - Warranty and Retractation), all fees (transportation and payment) will be your responsibility.

Procedure: You must first contact us by email to the after-sales service to sav(at)chinistore.com or through the contact form including the order number, the product concerned and the reason of the return so we can engage the return procedure. Then in "my account" in "product return” complete the application and validate. Before sending your package, please wait for our confirmation on the reason of the return. If the reasons are valid, send your package to the address we indicate (we will send it by mail). You can follow the status of your return at any time in "My Account".


Article 13: Reimbursement

The reimbursement will be made within 7 days from the reception date of the returned product. The reimbursement methods are the following: Bank transfer or Paypal.

Reimbursement fees will be deducted from the reimbursement amount except that if the return results from a mistake from ChiniStore.


Article 14: Unforeseeable Circumstances or Force Majeure

ChiniStore cannot be held responsible for the unfulfilment of a concluded contract due to unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure (Act of god).


Article 15: Intellectual ownership

All the visual (texts, images, pictures, illustrations) contents of the website are and remain the intellectual property of ChiniStore. Any reproductions, any representations or any utilizations, partial or total, of the contents done without authorization is totally forbidden and constitute an offense of forgery.
